Trainer Gets 1st IRS "A" Main Win The following story is from the Rockford Speedway website and written by Jordan Kuehne. LOVES PARK, IL. (Saturday, July 31st, 2010) The 25-lap Illini Midgets headliner got off to a fast start as the red flag flew on lap two for a hard accident involving Doug Orseske and Patrick Bruns in turn four. Bruns went for a wild ride caroming off the wall and flipping over before coming to a rest at the bottom of the track. Eddie Sauer snatched the lead on the restart as Tyler Trainer closed in. Another caution flew two laps later for a solo spin by Kurt Mayhew on the frontstretch. ARDC SET TO RETURN TO ACCORD SPEEDWAY THIS FRIDAY ARDC will return to Accord Speedway this Friday night to makeup the race that was rained out on July 16th. A full field, of Wingless Midgets, were already pitside set for action on the neat little high banked track when a thunder storm struck and dumped buckets of water on the speedway. Also on the card are, Modifieds, Sportsman, Spec Sportsman, Pure Stock and Pro Stocks. Steve Buckwalter will be looking to pick up his third consecutive win after a thrilling victory last Friday night when the midgets raced at Dixieland Speedway in Elizabeth City, NC. “Clauson scores second straight Belleville championship” By Bryan Gapinski Belleville, Kan., Aug. 7---Bryan Clauson scored his second straight victory capturing the 33rd annual Speedway Motor Belleville Midget Nationals Saturday Night at The Belleville High Banks. Clauson joins Stan Fox (1979-80) and Kasey Kahne (2000-01) as the only drivers to win back-to-back events. The event got off to a rocky start when Andrew Felker flipped on the opening lap, and on the second lap the caution was displayed for a stalled car.
